The essence of a low ground pressure sprayer is of course a light footprint and balance between the axles. The SprayRanger 120D is difficult to spot from the other models as the key differences are in proportions rather than appearance.

When the demand for the larger tanks and booms was first applied to the 100D we found at the research phase of project that the chassis was slightly out of balance for optimum performance. The result of this was the design of the 120D chassis which has a number of subtle features over and above the 100D to give better balance and performance with larger booms and tank sizes. The 120D uses the same Land Rover engine and gearbox combination as the 100D as well as the same cab. Even with the greater capacities the Tdi engine is still under stressed giving the user both greater longevity and fuel economy than some of our competitors. The 120D is the top of the range and with its low ground pressure and greater tank capacity negates the reasons for choosing larger and therefore heavier machinery
